The community relations unit’s goal is to listen, learn, and educate to achieve the overall mission of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

In a county as diverse and multi-faceted as Henry County, community outreach takes many different forms, ranging from Sheriff’s Office driven programs, to public efforts such as community meetings and events, training, and education, both formal and informal.

Annual motorcycle ride, and party with a purpose, to foster unity in the community.

HSCO Law Enforcement and Community Car Show

Annual event to raise funds for the Georgia Sheriff’s Associations youth homes.  The Georgia Sheriff’s Association youth homes provided full-time residential care for Georgia’s most at-risk children.

Sheriff’s Office kicks off the season of giving with their annual Thanksgiving Food giveaway by providing boxes full of the essentials of a Thanksgiving meal.

The end cap program in conjunction with the annual National Faith & Blue weekend.  Faith & Blue is an initiative to facilitate safer, stronger, more just and unified communities by directly enabling local partnerships among law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses and community groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations.
